50 Days to More

A Seven Week Campaign to Begin 2018

Week 4: Investing in Uncommon Mentorship Which Promotes You

Day Twenty-Five (1/31/18): The Doorway to Wisdom
Recommended Reading: 1 Thessalonians 2:7-13

Mentorship is the doorway into the incredible wisdom and favor of God! It paves the road to spiritual and mental increase in our lives. God wishes for us to establish relationships with mentors that will bring us great wisdom. He blesses us with mentors to help us grow into the people we were created to be.

Mentors are gates to greatness! Godly mentors are people who have passed through this gate themselves, and now desire to see us pass through. As we’ll learn later on this week, this greatness depends on more than just our mentors. We have to put in a lot of effort and investment in order to increase our own wisdom. Mentors can provide all the tools we need, but we have to pick them up and get to work. You can lead a protégé to the gate to greatness, but you can’t make him pass through!

Mentors are bridges to blessing! Learning from the people we look up to will help bring us closer to The Lord. Mentors help guide us and decipher God’s assignment for our lives. As we mature in our relationship with God through the help of our mentors, we will begin to see an increase in blessings.

Mentors create uncommon increase for us. They help lead us to promotion! A relationship with an uncommon mentor is the best way a person can obtain wisdom. This wisdom is essential to experiencing increase! That’s why it’s important to invest in uncommon mentorship that will promote us to God’s best. Mentors impart the wisdom and anointing that can accelerate us into promotion and increase. They are a gift directly from God.

Perhaps you’re reading this and you never considered how important a mentor can be in your life. They aren’t just a teacher. They also open the doors that will lead us closer to God. By taking our mentorship seriously and investing in it, we are positioning ourselves for an increased favor from The Lord.

Do you view your relationship with your mentor this way? If you are a mentor to someone else, do you truly understand the responsibility and privilege you have? Think about this today and take full advantage of your mentor relationships. Step into all God has to offer you through them!
