While many people have one specific person who they consider their “mentor”, we actually have a few mentors in our lives. Having more than one mentor is essential because we can learn and grow from the wisdom from several walks of life. Let’s talk about the four types of mentorship that exist.

Day Twenty-Six (2/1/18): Honoring Your Mentor
Honor is the key that unlocks the heart of an uncommon mentor. It turns them toward you for promotion! When we honor special people in our lives, we are actively showing them that we respect them, uphold them, and appreciate them. Honor is the willingness to reward difference. If you have a mentor in your life, think about why you’ve chosen them to be your mentor. Chances are that they have something to offer you that no one else can. They may be full of wisdom and knowledge that you crave and know you can’t find on your own. They are different. If you find someone “different”--whether they are wiser, stronger, or able to impart something in your life--they deserve to be honored for that.

Mentorship is the doorway into the incredible wisdom and favor of God! It paves the road to spiritual and mental increase in our lives. God wishes for us to establish relationships with mentors that will bring us great wisdom. He blesses us with mentors to help us grow into the people we were created to be.

Day Twenty-Four (1/30/18): The Master Key

All the promises given to Abraham are available to those who will take them by faith. God promised Abraham increase, or MORE. His earthly reward was to have children as numerous as sands on the seashore. The heavenly reward was to have spiritual sons and daughters as numerous as stars in the sky. He was also promised that he would have much more than 1,000 times of blessing in his life! So what is the master key to receive this life of more like Abraham had?
