Declaring More Through Worship 2

In our last post I wrote about how several worship songs have been connecting with me through these devotionals and prayers for MORE. During this season of 2018, I really believe God is preparing His people to actually start living the abundant life! Many believe that their lives after having received Christ are much more full than they were previously. And this is true for many in their spiritual walk, but some have yet to experience this blessing of more in their finances. If we truly believe God is a God of abundance, then why not believe that He wants His people to live blessed financially?

As we discussed throughout our devotional "50 Days to MORE", we believe God wants us to have more! But we are not going to have more just so we can have it and keep it. No, He has called us to have more so we can be more and do more for His Kingdom through this life of increase and abundance!

He has called us to live a life of MORE so that we can focus on Kingdom things rather than earthly things. If you live in a mindset of worry and fear about your earthly needs being met than you are limited in the work you can do for the Kingdom of God. But if you live in complete assurance that God is meeting your every need, and going above and beyond, than your attention can be completely on Him!

One of the things about living a life of increase that has really stuck with me, is the idea of living in the OVERFLOW. When God fill us up, we are full! (which is incredible) But the next step is to become so full, that we start to overflow! David said in Psalm 23 that "his cup runneth over" because of the goodness and grace of God. If we believe that God's spirit can fill us emotionally, spiritually, and physically, why not believe that He can also increase our finances?! He wants us to live in increase so we can be blessed, in order to be a blessing to others!

This song, "I'm Getting Ready" by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, caught my attention through a video I saw on Facebook of her performing it live on Good Morning America. And one of the coolest things about the video was that the ladies interviewing her actually said how much they loved this song and believed in the power of its message. I believe that when we take God's Word by faith, He is faithful to meet our expectation with His power! Declare today that you are about to see more and more of the blessings of God come into your life!
